This was the four stop of their current tour in support of their new album, Mind Over Matter and what a start it has been for them, playing their fourth sold out show out of the four dates since the start of their tour.Young the Giant is based out of Irvine, CA, so opening their tour in California after being on a break since their self title first album, must have felt special. Young the Giant played a SOLD OUT show at San Diego's SOMA venue. They played through a 19 song setlist and a 2 song encore, a confetti filled Mercy and ultimately ending it with Knights of Cydonia. I will the first to admit that I lost my mind when they played the opening riff to The Handler! (In my opinion, my favorite and the best Muse track ever made) Muse started the show with Drones, which immediately powered to singles Psycho and Dead Inside, the first and second single, respectively off their 7th album. Notable tracks on the setlist included Plug In Baby, Madness, Apocalypse, Starlight and Supermassive Black Holes. and while that was an amazing show in itself, Drones was by far a far superior show! The screen projections went along perfectly to the songs. This is not the first time that I have seen Muse, I saw them once before when they came on their 2nd Law tour. Opening the show was New York City's own, Phantogram! Sarah and Josh were amazing, ripping through a show set of the singles and a track off their first EP. The stage consumed the entire floor, unlike a traditional stage, this stage was in the middle of the floor and could be surrounded by fans from every angle.

Muse formed in 1994 and consists of Matt Bellamy (Guitar/Vocals), Chris Wolstenholme (Bass/Vocals), and Dominic Howard (Drums) The show was incredible from start to finish from drones flying around the arena to the 360 degree rotating stage, my mind was consistently blown away. This show was the most incredible spectacle that I ever had the pleasure of witnessing. Muse played a rescheduled show at the Valley View Casino Center on January 7th 2016 from their original tour date back in December.
